Acid Reflux Medicine

As you may already know I write a lot of articles about various health issues and I’ve found to my amazement that there is a tremendous request for information on acid reflux medicine and remedies.

The difference between an acid reflux medicine and an acid reflux remedy is that the remedy is based on natural science, whereas the medicine is based on what next up and coming drug or surgery is patentable.

By patentable, I mean, marketable as ‘medicine.’

What we think of today as medicine is nothing like what it used to be. Two thousand years ago Hippocrates, called the Father of Medicine, proclaimed to make “food your medicine and medicine your food.” For that matter, laughter was considered to be the best medicine, but now it’s regarded as one of the best unpatentable, or natural, remedies on earth.

If you do your own research and look into it there is plenty of science to back up food and laughter as sound remedies and who at least one of them may even help eliminate your acid reflux . . .

Imagine the right food actually being a remedy for your acid reflux, instead of pharmaceutical medicine, then who will have the last laugh?

Acid reflux is no laughing matter and neither is any health challenge, yet if you can find a way you can laugh about it, it may help alleviate some of the stress related factors often associated with acid reflux.

Acid reflux medicine is intended to be used ONLY for brief periods of time, NOT on a daily basis. I don’t care how cute the Alka-Seltzer commercials get, its patented medicine, which means there are side effects, especially if you take on a daily basis.

On the other hand acid reflux remedies supported by evidence-based science are completely safe to use on a daily basis. That’s not to imply that you need to take a remedy for acid reflux on a daily basis, but the same thing that prevents acid reflux also cures it . . .

That’s the ugly truth about medicine and the good news about remedies for acid reflux. Medicine is a product that as a drug only addresses the symptoms of acid reflux, sometimes making the symptoms come back worse later.

For example Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) are a medicine for acid reflux, which are documented to cause acid rebound, dependency and even lead to unnecessary surgeries in some cases.

Always look at the science of using a natural, proven safe and effective remedy, before running to your drug store to use medicine for your acid reflux. In either case if it’s recurring acid reflux see a few qualified health professionals before taking any medicine.

Acid Reflux Surgery

Love to live dangerously? Then acid reflux surgery may be for you . . .

It may be a little like cutting off your nose to spite your face, but millions of people live with the lasting consequences of acid reflux surgery rather than seek the natural cure.

If your doctor says you can’t control your acid reflux with diet and lifestyle changes, you are either unwilling to try or you’re another victim of bad medicine.

Nothing could be simpler than curing acid reflux . . .

The nutritional approach to acid reflux uses whole food based nutrients to address the root cause of your acid reflux issues.

If you choose the pharmaceutical approach, long term benefits will be questionable and that’s why they have acid reflux surgery, one leads to the other.

This way you get the full experience of laying your life down for an experiment in medical insanity. There are always acceptations to the rules, but the fact is according to the Journal of American Medicine more than 106,000 patients die from properly prescribed medicine each year in the US.

Add to that massive number all the people who die because of malpractice, surgical mistakes and iatrogenic infections and its closer to 225,000 patient deaths per year.

Now are you sure you want to have surgery for a little heart burn?

The standard surgery for acid indigestion is called Nissen Fundoplication. This involves some cutting and wrapping of the stomach around your lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which is a flap at the bottom of your gullet that keeps food and acid reflux in the stomach.

After your acid reflux surgery the doctor will tell you to stop all the things you didn’t stop before, like smoking, drinking alcohol and caffeine, eating fatty foods and sugar . . .

If you did that in the first place, you would never had ended up having acid reflux surgery.

By treating the symptoms of acid reflux with drugs, odds are you will end up being a candidate for this insane surgery. I say it’s insane because 99% of the people who have acid reflux surgery could have been healed of acid reflux naturally.

Once you go down the pharmaceutical rabbit whole one drug leads to another and before you know it you’re taking Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs), one of the most damaging of acid reflux drugs or of any drugs.

PPIs increase risk of second heart attack by 30%, cause acid rebound and can lead to bacterial infections of the gut.

Frankly most people who end up having acid reflux surgery do so because of the damage the PPIs have done to their natural biological functions.

Natural Acid Reflux Disease Remedy

A remedy for your acid reflux is simply the most natural solution. As you already know all too well, conventional medicine has no cure for your acid reflux.

Millions of people are being sucked into the vicious circle of taking Over-The-Counter drugs for their acid reflux symptoms, only to discover later that their acid reflux has only gotten worse.

Still trusting the convenience of these Over-The-Counter gimmicks, millions more people end up being persuaded to even try stronger ‘Behind-The-Counter’ drugs.

Unfortunately it’s a scientific fact that these stronger chemical gimmicks simply lead them down the medical rabbit hole even deeper. It’s common knowledge to most doctors that proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are responsible for acid rebound.

Of course these powerful antacids have a purpose, but only in emergency situations. Using PPIs is a tell tale sign that you should have sought out a natural remedy for your acid reflux, rather than having tried to cover the symptoms in the first place.

More than 15,000,000 TUMS were recently recalled because people found they were contaminated with metal filings and saw dust.

I’m curious how many people are suffering from “mysterious” digestive system issues because they’ve unknowingly been swallowing metal shavings and who knows what else.

How can you undo that?

Antacids simply cover symptoms; they do not even claim to be a natural remedy . . . so why do millions of people fall for it?

The same reason people smoke cigarettes, eat fast food and drink pop, advertising. Billions of dollars in profits are turned back into the great deception of the American public. It’s a free-for-all marketing circus out there and YOUR HEALTH is paying the highest cost.

Seeking natural remedies isn’t practicing medicine; it’s using real science to get to the bottom of any problem.

Your acid reflux is a health problem triggered by something “unnatural”. Running to the pharmacist for more unnatural factors to complicate your health, clearly isn’t the right answer.

A natural remedy is the natural solution for your acid reflux, or anything else you may be suffering from.

Once you go all the way down the medical rabbit hole, the only way out seems to be to go deeper, but remember, that’s how your acid reflux got worse in the first place.

Don’t be fooled by the intimidating mask of medicine. Behind it is one goal: making money. Natural remedies don’t build global empires because there is no return customer . . . they move on to live long healthy lives.

Take care of the cause of your acid reflux and the real remedy will come to you naturally.
