Heartburn Cure

Cure your heartburn without using drugs, but rather by applying the science of prevention. Preventative remedies are more often than not also the cure for many health challenges you may be facing, not just acid reflux.

The amazing thing about curing something like heartburn is you learn to apply the science of addressing the root cause of acid reflux, stomach indigestion or gastro-esophageal reflux disease . . . or any other dis-ease.

The only way you’re going to cure your heartburn is by discovering what caused it in the first place, remember nothing ever changes at the symptom level.

The cure for heartburn and the cause of your heartburn are connected at the hip, just as the symptoms of heartburn and the effects are connected.

Getting rid of the symptoms or ‘blocking the effects’ of your heartburn still leaves you suffering from the cause of your heartburn, while waiting for the drugs to wear off.

At the risk of repeating, it’s very important you realize that living symptom free of heartburn isn’t the same as curing your heartburn.

Before you can cure your heartburn STOP assuming you have heartburn because of too much stomach acid . . . more often than not, heartburn can be caused from too little stomach acid. The symptoms and signs of heartburn are pretty much the same to the casual observer, that’s why if you start popping antacid medication you could be triggering a much more serious health challenge for yourself.

Ask you health professional or even insist that your health professional do a simple stomach acid test to accurately diagnose the correct health issue here.

If you want to cure your heart burn and you suffer from too much stomach acid, the cure maybe a basic lifestyle modification. You may be making too much stomach acid because of emotional or physical stress factors and changing those factors could be your cure for heartburn.

Perhaps you’re eating large meals or mixing the wrong foods or not getting enough exercise . . . those cases all require lifestyle modifications to cure your heartburn.

If you have all those things covered, your heartburn cure may be found in addressing a tired pancreas, endocrine and immune system with a nutritional approach.

Either way your heartburn is NOT a drug deficiency.

Know this: there is a natural, evidence-based scientific remedy for your heartburn . . . so don’t be fooled by gimmicks and Direct-to-Consumer advertising . . . your heartburn symptom isn?t the target.

If you really want to cure your heartburn, target the cause and the symptoms and signs will go away once and for all.

Home Remedies for Acid Reflux

Millions of acid reflux sufferers are finding lasting relief by using home remedies. Unfortunately many of them didn’t make that a priority and after discovering that medical treatment of symptoms isn’t a cure.

Known as the Father of western medicine, Hippocrates said, “First Do No Harm.”

Since your acid reflux isn’t a drug deficiency, there’s no sense treating your acid reflux symptom with drugs then is it? If you follow the Hippocratic axiom then you would be looking for a home remedy first.

Nothing on the market is as time-tested as a home remedy. There’s a possibility of someone modifying an ancient home remedy, but generally nothing is new under the sun. Everything that we need cured, including your acid reflux, has been cured by a simple evidence-based, time tested ancient home remedy somewhere . . . including your acid reflux.

According to anthropologists home remedies for acid reflux have been around as long as homes and maybe even before that. Nomads and wandering tribesman learned about how to cure their acid reflux by chewing on select grasses, eating certain fruits and drinking special teas or even healing beers.

There is evidence that herbs and grains were fermented and carried in gourds, long before primitive civilizations were formed as a result of agriculture.

Today there is a sinking sense of feeling separated from natural things. It’s as if everything we have is denatured, from our food to our medicine . . . there was a time when food was medicine, and those were the days when home remedies were simple common sense.

Nowadays the first thing someone with acid reflux does is run to the drugstore to get a magic pill that was originally based on a home remedy. I guess you could say pharmaceuticals are ‘denatured’  home remedies, accept they don’t even deserve to be associated with home remedies because they are the opposite.

Fact is more than 106,000 people die from properly prescribe medicine every year in the US, no one dies from home remedies. That tells me that the best remedy is to avoid using any drugs unless you have to use them in an emergency and then only use them for a short time.

Acid reflux can be cured using home remedies; however there are other factors involved that only lifestyle changes can cure . . . so if you need to you can keep using a home remedy for your acid reflux as often as you need.

It’s always in your best interest to cure your acid reflux at the source . . . because otherwise you could be ignoring important signs of some other impending health issue. As always prevention of acid reflux is the best home remedy or cure.

Acid Reflux Medicine

As you may already know I write a lot of articles about various health issues and I’ve found to my amazement that there is a tremendous request for information on acid reflux medicine and remedies.

The difference between an acid reflux medicine and an acid reflux remedy is that the remedy is based on natural science, whereas the medicine is based on what next up and coming drug or surgery is patentable.

By patentable, I mean, marketable as ‘medicine.’

What we think of today as medicine is nothing like what it used to be. Two thousand years ago Hippocrates, called the Father of Medicine, proclaimed to make “food your medicine and medicine your food.” For that matter, laughter was considered to be the best medicine, but now it’s regarded as one of the best unpatentable, or natural, remedies on earth.

If you do your own research and look into it there is plenty of science to back up food and laughter as sound remedies and who at least one of them may even help eliminate your acid reflux . . .

Imagine the right food actually being a remedy for your acid reflux, instead of pharmaceutical medicine, then who will have the last laugh?

Acid reflux is no laughing matter and neither is any health challenge, yet if you can find a way you can laugh about it, it may help alleviate some of the stress related factors often associated with acid reflux.

Acid reflux medicine is intended to be used ONLY for brief periods of time, NOT on a daily basis. I don’t care how cute the Alka-Seltzer commercials get, its patented medicine, which means there are side effects, especially if you take on a daily basis.

On the other hand acid reflux remedies supported by evidence-based science are completely safe to use on a daily basis. That’s not to imply that you need to take a remedy for acid reflux on a daily basis, but the same thing that prevents acid reflux also cures it . . .

That’s the ugly truth about medicine and the good news about remedies for acid reflux. Medicine is a product that as a drug only addresses the symptoms of acid reflux, sometimes making the symptoms come back worse later.

For example Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) are a medicine for acid reflux, which are documented to cause acid rebound, dependency and even lead to unnecessary surgeries in some cases.

Always look at the science of using a natural, proven safe and effective remedy, before running to your drug store to use medicine for your acid reflux. In either case if it’s recurring acid reflux see a few qualified health professionals before taking any medicine.

How to Get Rid Of Heartburn

People are asking how to get rid of heartburn, not because there are dozens of heartburn products they don’t know about, but because none of the heartburn products work.

It’s self evident that modern medicine has a bad attitude toward anything that really gets rid of heartburn naturally.

Basically Mama Nature would kick Big Pharma’s butt on the open market, especially with natural cures for heartburn, but even though Mama Nature’s way gets rid of heartburn at the root and any other health problems . . . she’s not patentable.

Because the business of medicine in America is the most profitable business on earth, there’s no way they’re going to let you find out how to get rid of your heartburn. It’s just not good business to kill one of the biggest cash cows in the medical industry. They’d rather you just treat your symptoms of heartburn instead.

Drugs that treat heart burn may get rid of the ‘symptoms’ of heartburn, but by now you know better . . . you really just want to get rid of your heartburn for good.

As you probably already know, treating the symptoms of heartburn, or any dis-ease will change nothing. Taking drugs for heartburn is a smoke and mirrors magic trick.

Magic tricks worked better on us when we were kids, but now that we’re all grown up and we’ve put childish things away . . .magic and antacid gimmicks just don’t get rid of heartburn and we know it.

Getting rid of your heartburn is a serious request. You’re not interested in getting rid of the symptoms of heartburn; no . . . you don’t want anything to do with heartburn at all-period.

What good does it do you to chemically hide the symptoms of heartburn? Knowing you still have heartburn means ‘the cause’ of your heartburn will still be there.

That’s why it’s a serious request, because if you don’t get rid of you heartburn at the root cause, it will only get worse and then you’ll be trying to hide the bigger flames of more dangerous symptoms using more toxic drugs.

You don’t want side effects, you want to get rid of heartburn . . . is that asking too much? Address the root cause, nurture normal digestion, build up your enzymes and healthy gut flora, eat more raw vegetables and less animal protein, and eat smaller portions more often.

Eat better, exercise and give your pancreas a natural break-that’s how you get rid of heartburn, acid indigestion, acid reflux, GERD and hiatal hernias . . . nip it in the bud!
