Home Remedy For Acid Reflux

Finding a home remedy for acid reflux is a trial and error process simply because everyone is different.

Beyond our personal differences there is an underlying uniformity, what leading scientists call ‘intelligent design’. Understanding how your body really thrives is the key to healing anything, especially acid reflux.

A home remedy for acid reflux will work better for one person and perhaps not at all for another because of several factors. Some people need remedies for a bundle of health problems including allergies and food sensitivities, not just acid reflux.

Sometimes the remedy is to discover what you are being exposed to in your home environment in regards to food, water and the air you breathe.

As you already know one of the main triggers of acid reflux is from eating the wrong foods. There is a very good reason these “wrong foods” can cause acid reflux . . . because they’re simply bad for you.

Often the best home remedy for acid reflux is to eliminate whatever is triggering your heart burn and gastric indigestion.

It’s not only the type of foods you eat at home, but what’s inside or on the food, including pesticides and herbicides, not to mention bacteria from foods processed with reclaimed sewer water.

Another hidden danger lurking in the homes of Americans that can contribute to your digestive health being compromised is Genetically Manufactured Organisms, or commonly called GMO foods.

Anything in that lowers your cellular energy levels will eventually upset your digestive system, which can become a hidden factor when looking for a home remedy for acid reflux, heart burn and acid indigestion.

At first glance you may think that there couldn’t be a connection between these things and your acid reflux. Yet the truth remains true . . . conventional medicine still doesn’t have a cure for your acid reflux disease, acid rebound or gastric esophageal reflux disease (GERD).

That’s why you’re looking for a home remedy in the first place, isn’t it?

Drinking a glass of milk is a home remedy for some people suffering from acid reflux, but for others the animal fat, indigestible protein, antibiotics, growth hormones, and lactose sugars can trigger acid reflux.

Drinking natural mineral water an hour between meals can help remedy acid reflux, but if you drink water, or any beverage, with your meals your digestive acids become even more diluted and can trigger acid indigestion as well.

So keep hunting for the real cause of your acid reflux . . . eliminating the cause is your best home remedy.

Infant Acid Reflux

Is your newborn always coughing and just seems miserable?

It may not just be a case of colic . . . it could be your baby has infant acid reflux.

When I found out that about 50% of newborns and up to 85% of all premature babies suffer from infant acid reflux I was shocked.

Most outgrow the acid reflux symptoms after the first few months, but then there are those who never seem to overcome it. In fact many that receive the best medical treatments continue to suffer from infant acid reflux and its dangerous complications.

Having a child with infant acid reflux can be about the most challenging things you can face as a parent. The constant misery of infant acid reflux symptoms can exhaust both parent and child.

Here are 8 signs of infant acid reflux:

1. Constant crying

2. Irritability and pain

3. Disturbed sleep patterns

4. Arching of the neck and back

5. Vomiting

6. Chronic hiccups

7. Ear infections

8. Sinus problems

Even one of these symptoms could indicate your child may have infant acid reflux.

If the root cause of infant acid reflux isn’t addressed it could lead to these complications:

  • Anemia
  • Constant drooling
  • Sinus infections
  • Swallowing problems
  • Chronic hoarseness
  • Sore throat
  • Chronic ear infection
  • Sleep apnea
  • Lung problems
  • Esophagitis
  • Failure to thrive
  • Eroded teeth
  • Sandifer’s syndrome
  • Halitosis

The obvious cause of infant acid reflux is generally straight forward. Normally, the ring of muscle between the esophagus and the stomach (lower esophageal sphincter) relaxes and opens only when you swallow.

Otherwise, it’s sealed tightly – keeping stomach acid where it belongs. Until your baby matures, infant acid reflux may cause food to flow up the throat, into the lungs, ears and sinus cavities and out your baby’s mouth.

Sometimes air bubbles in the esophagus may push liquid out of your baby’s mouth. In other cases, your baby may simply drink too much, too fast.

The artificial milk or baby formula you’re using could be the real problem.

Breastfed babies have been shown to have fewer and less severe infant reflux problems than artificially fed infants. Mother’s milk is more easily digested than artificial milk and is absorbed and digested from the stomach twice as fast.

Proper digestion and speed are vital to minimize irritating infant acid reflux. Mother’s milk is by far less irritating and much healthier for your baby than artificial milk products.

The bond between mother and baby is an important factor to preventing and curing infant acid reflux. Unhappy infants get overwhelmed and stress out which can trigger infant acid reflux.

Nursing is nature’s perfect way to protect your infant, plus hormones made when you breastfeed help relax you both . . . another reason to nurture your infant with breast milk.

Here are some tricks to help your infant to nurse:

  1. Create a soothing peaceful environment-soft pleasant music helps.
  2. Try nursing when your infant wakes from the acid reflux or when sleepy.
  3. Give your infant lots of skin-to-skin contact and cuddling.
  4. Try to keep your infant upright while your hands are free. Try a baby sling.

Research all the emotional and nutritional benefits of breast feeding . . .

Gastritis Dizziness

The main symptoms of gastritis are loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, and vertigo or dizziness. There are many things that can trigger gastritis and dizziness, but inflammation is the primary predator here.

Here are some of the things that can trigger dizziness from gastritis:

  • Eating too much
  • Eating quickly
  • Eating animal fats
  • Eating foods high in refined sugar
  • Periods of high ongoing stress.
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Extreme exercise right after eating
  • Smoking tobacco
  • drinking alcohol
  • Helicobacter pylori infections in the gut
  • Side effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) like aspirin or ibuprofen

If you have been experiencing the symptoms of gastritis inflammation, like dizziness, after eating, then you need to see a health practitioner as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that the least helpful thing you can do to eliminate dizziness triggered from gastritis is to start taking antacids. Antacids have been proven many years ago to be nothing but a gimmick, and a harmful gimmick at that.

Don?t fall for the direct-to-consumer advertising you see on television or hear on the radio?do your due diligence and discover the truth yourself. In fact did you know direct-to-consumer commercials are illegal in every country accept the US and New Zeeland?? These commercials are geared to sell you on drugs as a solution to everything under the moon.

Truth is drugs aren?t a solution for anything. Drugs can be temporarily helpful only to buy you and the doctor time, while vigilantly seeking to uproot the cause of your dizziness and gastritis inflammation.

Any prolonged use of drugs is misuse and in many cases outright abuse.

Dizziness is one of the most serious side effects you can have from an illness or a drug. Dizziness is a sign you are in danger of losing complete control and may be a symptom of heart disease, ear infection or gastric inflammation (Gastritis).

If you are experiencing inflammation you are at going through a degenerative process that must be stopped before it can be reversed.

Here are some of the symptoms, or signs, of gastritis:

  • Upper abdominal pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Hiccups
  • Belching or gas
  • Burning sensation in the stomach
  • Dizziness
  • Extreme weakness
  • Shortness of breath

Simply cutting back on dangerous habits like smoking tobacco, drinking hard alcohol and over eating often help, if necessary you may need to eliminate all junk food, cut out all refined salts and sugars and take up a vegan diet for a month or more.

The idea is to help you restore digestive balance so that your immune system can heal whatever is causing the gastritis inflammation and dizziness in the first place.

If you aren?t ready to make a commitment to ridding your lifestyle of dangerous habits and oversights, then your doctor and pharmacist will be happy to take you on as a permanent gastritis customer.

After you?ve tried all that and finally decide your wealth is your health, you will stop at nothing to restore natural vitality and digestive balance.

Dizziness usually comes just before you pass out, or fall over and where and when you lose your balance may determine whether you live through the experience.

So to cure your gastritis, as with any degenerative health issue you need to see the value of living a life not only free of symptoms, but one that nurtures nature balance, not dizziness.
