Chronic Indigestion

Acute indigestion is one thing, that’s short term and unpleasant as it is, it isn’t a real big deal. However chronic indigestion is like acute indigestion, accept it lasts much longer and if allowed can consume your whole life.

Also called dyspepsia, chronic indigestion leaves you feeling full, gassy and nauseated . . . not a good place to be.

There are only a few things associated with causing chronic indigestion, so it shouldn’t be difficult to stop it, reverse it and cure it if need be.

Inflammation is a natural immune response that can be triggered by many things. When your throat of stomach is inflamed for long periods of time you will need to reassess everything you do. Is it something you eat on a regular basis, something you smoke or drink, maybe an adverse reaction to a prescriptive drug?

One of the most common causes of inflammation and chronic indigestion is acid reflux, but then again, perhaps the cause of your chronic indigestion is also causing your acid reflux and heart burn symptoms.

Too often people confuse cause for effects . . . remember treating the symptoms of your chronic indigestion isn’t the same as curing your chronic indigestion. Symptoms of chronic indigestion are the effect of whatever is causing your chronic indigestion.

Peptic ulcers are often blamed for causing chronic indigestion, however once again you have to wonder, is your chronic indigestion possibly causing your peptic ulcers? In which case whatever is causing your chronic pain and indigestion is also the cause of your peptic ulcers.

Taking medication, especially pain killers will kill your digestive health.

One more myth I have to bust here is that spicy foods cause chronic indigestion . . . it’s just untrue.

Spicy food doesn’t cause chronic indigestion- eating meals based on the Western pattern diet does.

The Western diet is full of animal protein and fats in large quantities. The ticket to curing your chronic indigestion is to eat smaller portions more often, rather than 2 or 3 large meals a day.

It will take less stomach acid to digest your food. Plus eating more diverse foods will offer a more diverse nutritional profile, feeding your organs more natural sources of enzymes, vitamins and their co-factors.

Animal protein and fats stay in the stomach longer to break down. They also create extra waste your body has to deal with. Eating too much sugar, fat and animal protein will slow down your metabolism and these foods demand your pancreas make the enzymes to break them down. All this places stress on your digestive system.

Chronic indigestion is a result of chronically eating wrong . . . change the way you eat and claim your health back again.

Indigestion Symptoms

Keep in mind your symptoms of indigestion originate from a common cause, no matter how many symptoms you end up with.

The reason one symptom of indigestion becomes two, which becomes more than you can deal with is because the cause of the problem and its solution are being kept apart.

If you desire to stop your indigestion symptoms you must first stop ignoring them. As you already found out treating your symptoms of indigestion into chemical oblivion isn’t the right way to respond to your miraculous body/mind.

In fact even though you may seem successful at controlling your symptoms, whether they are acid reflux, esophagitis or inflammation of your digestive system . . . the truth is you are making matters worse by ignoring the root.

Taking drugs burdens your kidneys and it is your kidneys that are fighting to eliminate the real cause of your indigestion symptoms.

Yes, your kidneys are eliminating the cellular waste and environmental toxins that have overloaded your sensitive digestive system . . . help them!

Did you know your central nervous system, your endocrine system and your digestive system are your collective master immune system?

Some scientists call your digestive system the second brain because it works alongside the brain producing and releasing its own neuropeptides, anti-inflammatory agents and a whole pharmacy of natural pain killers and amazing healing agents.

Your druggist is playing copycat with Mama Nature and guess what? Your body/mind knows the difference.

If you are suffering from symptoms of indigestion it should tell you there is a battle going on to restore balance way down at the cellular level.

Taking artificial drugs made to chemically interfere at the cellular level is an attempt to over-ride your miraculous healing body/mind process.

Drugs introduce an alien challenge for your kidneys to deal with. It?s as if your cells are crying out for bread and the doctor gives them a stone instead.

This need not be!

Indigestion symptoms are signs that you need to start helping your immune system by strengthening your healing digestive system beginning at your cellular level.

Don’t burden your cells with artificial molecules. Nurture your body/mind’s own inner pharmacy by empowering your cells with the right water, air, sunlight, minerals and nutrients.

Indigestion symptoms are an effect. They are like ripples that will point to the origin of the problem, which is exactly where you will discover your natural solution.

Diet for Gastritis

For too long now doctors have been recommending a bland diet to help prevent or cure gastritis.

In fact a bland diet, more often than not, isn’t good for gastritis or acid reflux.

Gastritis comes mainly from inflammation in the cells found in your stomach lining. Many things can trigger the kind of inflammation that leads to gastritis, even a bland diet.

One of the most common triggers of gastritis symptoms is from bacteria called Helicobacter pylori, the same bacteria involved in the formation of stomach ulcers.

Anything that causes an acidic environment inside your body’s tissues can trigger the inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis).

Some known causes of an acidic environment which the gastritis-type bacteria thrive in are:

  • Digestive bile back-up
  • Immune imbalance
  • Ibuprophen and other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).

A diet that produces an alkaline environment in your body tissues will prevent, reverse and cure gastritis, but there is no need to limit your diet to the bland side of life.

You see it is a scientific certainty that gastritis bacteria cannot live inside you when you have an alkaline pH. All that really means is your has a healthy balance of ionic minerals, nutrients and cofactors that help maintain healthy oxygen levels in your tissues.

If you suffer from indigestion, heartburn, stomach aches, hiccups, nausea, vomiting or dark stools you most likely are suffering from an acid pH that can lead to gastritis symptoms. All that means is your body tissues are lacking ionic minerals, nutrients and oxygen.

Bacteria that cause gastritis thrive in a low oxygen acidic environment. The ONLY place you should have acid is within the stomach area and in your body waste. All your cells, including the cells in your stomach lining need an alkaline environment to survive.

That’s why gastritis and the damage it causes to your tissue can be reversed and healed. As soon as normal oxygen and mineral levels are restored the healing process begins to win over the gastritis.

Your diet should be made of a variety of delicious vegetables and fruits. Simply eliminate the gastritis triggering, acid forming diet foods and products. Diet foods that are over cooked, diet foods high in refined sugar, diet foods containing vegetable oils, canola oils or hydrogenated trans-fatty oils will add to acid waste build-up.

Your gastritis diet depends on you eating small portions throughout the day. It is better to have 5 meals that are small than one or two large meals.

A gastritis diet rich with steamed or raw vegetables of a variety of colors will help provide enzymes, minerals and nutrients your body needs to maintain an alkaline environment.

Keep in mind bacteria, virus, fungus, yeast and even cancer cells can NOT live in a balanced alkaline tissue. Your gastritis diet should be anything but bland . . . just know to avoid some spicy or fatty foods, especially while your gut is healing from the gastritis damage and ulcerations.

Acid Reflux Help

Everyone needs a little help with acid reflux every now and then. Acid reflux should never be allowed to become a disease.

You can help protect your body by following a few natural guidelines.

It’s hard for some people to help themselves eliminate acid reflux, like over the road truckers, people that work in restaurants and actually it’s hard for anyone on the go these days . . . especially for you third shifters.

I’ve always found it hard to find “real” food when I worked on the road . . . I learned the hard way and had a mini-stroke when I was only 35 years old. Acid reflux is an inflammatory issue, like strokes, heart attacks, diabetes and even cancer . . . it’s all connected at one level or another.

If you’re having trouble finding real help for your acid reflux, trust me, you’re far from alone.

People are sick and tired of treating symptoms of inflammatory diseases like acid reflux and the rest of it. You can learn the easy way or the hard way like I did, it’s up to you. I would like to help you find an easy way . . . and avoid the hard way.

When I say “Treating” your acid reflux symptoms, it’s the same as saying “ignoring” the cause of your acid reflux.

There are stages of degenerative disease and inflammation is only one of those steps associated with all of them, especially acid reflux. The best way to help yourself get rid of acid reflux forever is to help get rid of your inflammation . . . now you are closer to finding the real cause of your acid reflux.

What causes inflammation? If you can eliminate that, you have done more than help your acid reflux, you’ll have cured yourself of it.

Inflammation starts whenever your body becomes stressed and there are a few things that can do that, but the number one reason is toxicity.

You can’t help your acid reflux if your body is full of toxins, whether it is toxins from pollutants found in the air, water and food, or toxic build-up from body wastes.

To help detoxify your body and reduce stress and inflammation that trigger acid reflux and other disease states, you’ll want to increase real energy levels in your body.

You can help do this by first avoiding foods that lower cellular energy.

You now have the master keys to help eliminate acid reflux and other inflammatory health problems.
