Reflux Pain

The fourth stage of throat cancer is acid reflux pain and inflammation. As with any health problem be it acid reflux or cancer, it all starts with the loss of cellular energy and gets worse from there.

To heal your acid reflux pain the first thing you need to do is go directly to the root cause of it all . . . no matter what stage your at.

The loss of cellular energy happens when the natural mineral balance of your body becomes acidic.

So if you think your acid reflux is isolated to a stomach acid problem, you just don’t see the big picture. The environment or terrain of your tissue is where it all starts and ends. Your tissue includes your blood, bones and flesh.

In order for you to live a long and healthy life your body tissue has to keep a delicate balance between alkaline and acid called pH.

This pH scale starts at zero, near where you stomach acid is. In fact any pH reading below 7 is considered acid . . . your stomach acid reads around pH 2.

In order to avoid acid reflux pain and inflammation your pH needs to stay between 7.25 and 7.4, which isn’t acid at all. Truth is all your organs need this slightly alkaline pH.

Only your stomach acid and urine should have an acid pH.

Did you know your urine is really dirty blood? It’s acid because it’s full of acid waste. Too much build-up of acid waste means your dehydrated, lack ionic minerals and therefore you are losing cellular energy.

Once you start down this path acid reflux pain and inflammation can’t be far behind.

After loss of cellular energy, metabolism slows, toxins build-up, stress begins to affect normal organ and tissue function, then the pain and inflammation kicks in.

If the root cause of your acid reflux pain isn’t addressed, eventually the flesh lining of your sensitive throat begins to degenerate, actually becoming stiff and leathery, more like the lining of your stomach.

The pain of your acid reflux increases because your throat isn’t made to resist the strong acid pH level of stomach acid . . . the final stage is where the tissue inside your throat begins to mutate and literally becomes the same as your stomach lining.

The pain of acid reflux isn’t limited to just the burning sensation of stomach acid erupting where it doesn’t belong . . .the pain comes from the degeneration, stiffness and mutating cells it ultimately causes.

The final stage of ignoring the cause of your acid reflux pain is throat cancer and then . . . your risk of death increases greatly.

The moral of the story is to never ignore the cause of your acid reflux pain and as you know taking antacids is the same as ignoring the real cause- antacids don’t cure the root cause of acid reflux pain . . . in the end they make it much worse.

Silent Acid Reflux

Acid reflux is a silent destroyer of your health and sanity.

It’s a well known fact that acid reflux will get worse if all you do is treat the symptoms, especially when, like most people, you are mistreating the symptoms as well.

Common sense tells you that only treating the symptoms of your silent acid reflux won’t help you get better. However the real tragedy isn’t in just ignoring the true cause of your silent acid reflux, but to assume your acid reflux is triggered from an over abundance of stomach acid.

IF you think your silent acid reflux is from you making too much stomach acid you’re most likely going to try taking antacids to quench the acid reflux pain, right?

What if you’re wrong? What if what’s really going on is for the exact opposite reasons you think, then what?

Your acid reflux is silent as it eats away at the lining of your throat, invading your lungs, mouth and sinus cavities, so why wouldn’t you think it’s from too much acid?

I agree . . . one single drop of stomach acid up where it doesn’t belong . . . silently and painfully burning through soft sensitive tissue would make me want to stop it too. So I guess in a kind of a desperate state of pain it’s easy to see why people assume they have too much stomach acid and they do, they have too much above and outside the stomach seal.

I can see popping an antacid to kill the silent burning sensation in your mouth and throat. Yet that doesn’t change the fact that your stomach isn’t digesting your food properly . . . it doesn’t change the fact that your undigested food may need more digestive power, not less.

Why couldn’t this silent destructive force be triggered from a lack of stomach acid? Think about it for a moment . . . reconsider your first theory.

Why else wouldn’t your food be digesting? Acid reflux is acid indigestion caused from your food NOT being digested fast enough. What happens if you keep stuffing trash in your trash can without ever emptying it? That’s right, it over flows.

You silent acid reflux is overflowing in the only direction it can go . . . upward.

Get your stomach acid levels checked by a doctor and start using natural remedies to address the silent cause of your acid reflux . . . before it becomes a disease of neglect.

Home Cures for Heartburn

Nearly everyone has experienced heartburn at some time or another and has sought relief through one of the home cures for heartburn. Heartburn is often the result of either over-eating or indulging in too many rich and spicy foods as we tend to do during holiday meals. A mild case can involve some stomach discomfort such as feeling over full, bloating, and belching accompanied by a mild pain. People with more severe cases experience a burning pain in the abdomen or lower chest that travels up to the neck area. While people refer to this as heartburn, it really has nothing to do with the heart.

Heartburn is the layman’s term for acid reflux pain. When you swallow food, it travels down a tube-like structure called the esophagus and then into your stomach. Your stomach contains strong acids that help digest the food. At the bottom of your esophagus there is a muscle known as a sphincter. This muscle will open and allow food to pass from the esophagus into the stomach. Once this has occurred, the muscle contracts and tightens. This action prevents the food from backing up or the stomach acid from escaping into the esophagus. But if this muscle does not contract and tighten after the food has passed, the food and acid will back up (known as reflux). The end result: heartburn pain.

Since most people experience this from time to time, nearly everyone has a home remedy that they try before calling a doctor or buying an over the counter medication. Contrary to what many people think, home cures for heartburn can be very effective. However, like many other health problems, there is no magic bullet. People are individuals and what works for one, may not work for another.

The effectiveness of the cure can be related to the cause of the problem. With some people the heartburn is triggered by a particular food. If the person can identify the food that is causing the problem, avoiding the food is the simplest way to stop reflux at its source.? Everyone is unique, but some common food triggers are alcohol, citrus, onions and garlic.

Another effective home remedy is one containing an alkali ingredient to neutralize the acid that has escaped from the stomach. What might be one of the most common home cures for heartburn that many people try is adding one teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of water and then drinking the mixture.

Something else that may help is a simple adjustment in the way you eat.? If you tend to eat a few large meals every day, try breaking it up into several smaller ones.? This prevents tremendous amounts of food from reaching the stomach at once, which causes pressure to build, and reflux to ensue.

On his website www.refluxremedy.com Bob Barton mentions eating a red apple as one of the most successful home cures for heartburn. And according to Barton, you don’t even have to eat the entire apple. A couple of slices can do the trick.

Barton?s book, The Reflux Remedy Report also suggests trying techniques like elevating your head during sleep.? This helps keep your head in the appropriate position and alignment with your stomach, keeping acids where they belong.
