Help for Acid Reflux
Congratulations for doing your own due diligence and researching how you can get help for your acid reflux.
More people are taking back charge of their health, that’s the good news. The bad news is too many people suffer far too long before they decide to help themselves eliminate acid reflux.
The big problem is the acid reflux industry only stays in business if your acid reflux keeps coming back. Keep in mind only you and your family benefits from you being cured of acid reflux.
The drug industry is unfortunately still a big part of the acid reflux problem. In fact if the so-called acid reflux treatments they offer actually worked, you wouldn’t be here reading this, simply because acid reflux wouldn’t be the huge health problem it has become.
The best help you can give your acid reflux is to stop treating the symptoms. Treating the symptoms of acid reflux doesn’t change the fact that the real cause of it is still there.
You can help make things better by simply eliminating the cause of your acid reflux. When you see how acid reflux issues are properly helped, it seems almost funny to think you believed anything else would do.
The acid reflux drug industry counts on you confusing the ‘effects’ of your acid indigestion with its ’cause’.
Bottom line is the entire drug culture depends on you believing that treating the symptoms of acid reflux will help. Helping acid reflux disease by taking drugs to block the warning signals is a scientific impossibility.
It shouldn’t be allowed and someday it will be recognized as criminal. As long as people pop pills to hide symptoms of acid reflux, acid reflux will stay a serious health problem.
Do you even know for a certainty that your acid reflux issues are from too much gastric acid or too little?
If you had too much stomach acid, which is rare . . . you wouldn’t have trouble digesting rusty nails, let alone a little pizza and coke. The odds are your best help for acid reflux is to check your stomach acid levels first . . . then work on restoring optimum digestion.

Treatments For Acid Reflux
Treatments that block or even ignore symptoms of acid reflux can end up inflaming a simple case of heartburn to fully fledged throat cancer, unless your careful.
When treatments for acid reflux fail the acid reflux continues to force its way passed your lower esophageal sphincter, eventually allowing the sensitive throat lining to be scarred from stomach acid.
This scarring can lead to your throat cells mutating into cells resembling your stomach cells. This is a desperate act of your body’s built-in intelligence to try and adapt to a caustic situation in order to prolong life.
There conventional treatments for acid reflux merely cover-up the symptoms, yet do nothing to remove the root cause of your acid reflux.
So be careful in selecting any so-called treatments and if you chose any of the conventional acid reflux treatments be sure to always get a second and third opinion. You do not want to get stuck taking any treatment for any extended length of time.
Treatments are not cures and are only useful for short periods of time.
Acid reflux treatments typically start with sodium bicarbonate and water and when the antacid formulas leave you wanting more relief you can up-grade to a more dangerous treatment called proton-pump inhibitors. These treatments are powerful chemical ?inhibitors that block your body’s ability to make stomach acid. In a sense you’ve declared chemical war against the most intelligent biological system in the world, your body’s automatic healing system.
(Oh, by the way, you better be absolutely sure you don’t already suffer from a stomach acid deficiency- ask your doctor to double, triple check first.)
This can have dire consequences if you don’t have a compassionate and nutritionally educated health care practitioner working to get you off conventional acid reflux treatments a.s.a.p.
Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are notorious for causing acid rebound, which is a medical condition created entirely from these by man-made “treatment’ drugs.
Acid rebounds are symptoms of proton pump inhibitor addiction.
Other treatments are relative to the severity of your acid reflux symptoms and generally depend on how long you’ve been taking antacids and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
Hiatal hernia is associated with chronic acid reflux and some of the treatments are complicated surgical procedures. Another stage of dis-ease caused from ignoring the signs of acid reflux is gastro-esophageal reflux disease. This is a life threatening health concern that is treated with drugs simply because medically speaking, they claim there is no cure.
Medically speaking, means according to conventional, Western practice. You could say conventional medicine is biased toward treatment and against curing. There are natural remedies, which are un-patentable because they are “natural,” but have been proven to be very effective at reversing acid reflux and even gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Why opt for failed treatments when there is a natural cure waiting for you to discover?
When gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) is treated rather than cured, cancer can be the result. Treatments for throat cancer are harsh and are the most dangerous of all the treatments.
Certainly prevention is the best and only real treatment for acid reflux, GERD or cancer.
That’s why being nutritionally literate is so smart, knowing what remedies to take is the best way to treat any health concern, especially something like acid reflux.
Treat your acid reflux with one purpose, to help eliminate the cause without ignoring the symptoms. That way you will make the best of conventional medical wisdom and ancient time-tested cures and go beyond temporary treatments.

Taking Antacids May Be Causing Massive Nerve Damage!
The truth is many antacids and antiperspirants contain aluminum and other metals that may prevent absorption of other minerals critical to a healthy calcium metabolism. Published in the Journal of Neurochemistry, a study done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham claimed aluminum interfered with the electrical function of calcium in cells upsetting calcium, iron and phosphate balance and possibly harming nerve and brain health.
Previous studies have shown that aluminum reduces the body?s sensitivity to Vitamin D needed for proper calcium absorption into the small intestine. Many biochemical processes have been shown to be adversely affected by aluminum, such as;
- Disrupting membrane function
- Inducing oxidative stress
- Altering G-protein function
- Interfering with gene function
- Disrupting mineral metabolism
- Blocking vitamin D dependent Calcium metabolism
Dietary aluminum and other sources such as antacids and antiperspirants affect individuals with already compromised levels of vitamin D even sooner. Other than from direct sunlight, you can only get vitamin D from your diet by eating more mackerel, sardines and salmon. People with dark colored skin and the elderly have a difficulty making vitamin D. Plus, sunscreen blocks natural production of vitamin D. That?s why I suggest always waiting at least 10 minutes before applying sunscreens.
Now you may ask what this has to do with your recurring acid reflux and painful heartburn issues, but I?m here to tell you it may have everything to do with it. You see your body needs several minerals that work together to not only provide for healthy, nerve, muscle and bone health, but also for healthy levels of stomach acid (HCL).
Acid reflux is only one of the first symptoms of a serious mineral imbalance. You see, your body uses specific mineral salts to produce stomach acid (HCL). Our soil and therefore our food are deficient in minerals because of the industrialization of agriculture.? That?s why one of the most overlooked health problems of today happens to be a Hydrochloric Acid Deficiency.
That?s why if you suffer from acid indigestion, bloating and gas you may also suffer from allergies, headaches and skin issues, along with other symptoms such as joint pain, arthritis and loss of bone density. The good news is your acid reflux suffering may simply be an easy to solve stomach acid deficiency.
I know it sounds revolutionary, but that?s only because the general idea of what causes heartburn is completely the opposite of what the root cause really is. That?s exactly why natural remedies for acid reflux are so popular these days . . . they are revolutionary because they work with your body rather than against it.
In my next post I will pick up on this topic and further investigate why drinking milk may be causing your acid reflux to get even worse.
Live well,

What If Acid Reflux Symptoms Persist?
If your Acid Reflux symptoms do not improve because you did not take necessary lifestyle changes or the doct
or recommended drugs you took were ineffective, you may need additional testing. Here are some acid reflux treatments that you may need to ask your doctor about. A barium swallow radiograph uses x rays to help spot abnormalities such as a hiatal hernia and severe inflammation of the esophagus. With this test, you drink a solution and then X-rays are taken. Mild irritation will not appear on this test, although narrowing of the esophagus?called stricture?ulcers, hiatal hernia, and other problems will. Upper endoscopy is more accurate than a barium swallow radiograph and may be performed in a
hospital or a doctor”s office. The doctor will spray your throat to numb it and slide down a thin, flexible plastic tube called an endoscope. A tiny camera in the endoscope allows the doctor to see the surface of the esophagus and to search for abnormalities. If you have had moderate to severe symptoms and this procedure reveals injury to the esophagus, usually no other tests are needed to confirm GERD, or acid reflux. The doctor may use tiny tweezers (forceps) in the endoscope to remove a small piece of tissue for biopsy. A biopsy viewed under a microscope can reveal damage caused by acid reflux and rule out

other problems if no infecting organisms or abnormal growths are found. In an ambulatory pH monitoring examination, the doctor puts a tiny tube into the esophagus
that will stay there for 24 hours. While you go about your normal activities, it measures when and how much acid comes up into your esophagus. This test is useful in people with GERD symptoms but no esophageal damage. The procedure is also helpful in detecting whether respiratory symptoms, including wheezing and coughing, are triggered by

Surgery
Surgery is also an alternative to acid reflux medications when the medicines and lifestyle changes do not work, or the acid reflux is beyond repair. Surgery may also be a reasonable alternative to a life time of drugs and discomfort.
Fundoplication, usually a specific variation called Nissen fundoplication, is the standard surgical treatment for GERD, or
acid reflux. The upper part of the stomach is wrapped around the LES to strengthen the sphincter and prevent acid reflux and to repair a hiatal hernia. This fundoplication procedure may be done using a laparoscope and requires only tiny incisions in the abdomen. To perform the fundoplication, surgeons use small instruments that hold a tiny camera. Laparoscopic fundoplication has been used safely and effectively in people of all ages, even babies. When performed by experienced surgeons, the procedure is reported to be as good as standard fundoplication. Furthermore, people

can leave the hospital in 1 to 3 days and return to work in 2 to 3 weeks. In 2000, the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved
two endoscopic devices to treat chronic heartburn. The Bard EndoCinch system puts stitches in the LES to create little pleats that help strengthen the muscle. The Stretta system uses electrodes to create tiny cuts on the LES. When the cuts heal, the scar tissue helps toughen the muscle. The long-term effects of these two procedures are unknown.
Implant
Recently the FDA approved an implant that may help people with GERD who wish to avoid surgery. Enteryx is a solution that becomes spongy and reinforces the LES to keep stomach acid from flowing into the esophagus. It is injected during endoscopy. The implant is approved for people who have GERD and who require and respond
to proton pump inhibitors. *The long-term effects of the implants are unknown*. Solution These options are “of course” the last resort treatment (or used for extreme cases). It is best to take a natural approach to ending your acid reflux suffering. The treatments available in the “Reflux Remedy Report” will not only stop your acid reflux, but it will also help you get on track to a healthier you. Get your copy today!
